To function, the App accesses the following data via the Shopify API:

  • Order Data: Line items, shipping totals, and billing countries to calculate tax liabilities.
  • Product Data: Product weights and variant details to perform weight-based tax splitting.
  • Shop Info: Your shop name and currency settings for report formatting.

We do not access or store your customers' credit card information or passwords.

3. How We Use Data

Our application operates on a "Pass-Through" basis:

  • Data is requested from Shopify solely to generate the report you view in the dashboard.
  • We do not sell, rent, or trade your store data to third parties.
  • We do not use your data for advertising or marketing purposes.

4. Data Retention

The App is designed to minimize data storage. Merchant sessions (login tokens) are stored securely to keep you logged in. Actual order data used for calculations is processed in real-time and is not permanently mirrored in our database.
